Pros: - Comfortable
- Soles facilitate movement on the pegs to manipulate gear shift, brake easily.
- Excellent control feel
- Easy in and out
Cons: - A short break in period was required before a truly comfortable fit was realized.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I ordered based on my European sizing, no issues with fit. Comparatively, the Vertice seems to run just a little larger (maybe one Euro size).
My jobs requires specific foot wear so I have a fair bit of time riding in traditional boots to contrast the Sidi with. The biggest difference is the sole. The Sidi offer a smooth sole that does not catch or hang on the pegs (I ride with the balls of my feet on the pegs and move my feet slightly to switch gears or brake). More than any other factor, that improves control by enhancing speed and precision of shifts and brake application. The boots also offer excellent feel and permit more easily modulated braking and good feel at the shifter for multiple shifts. The boots are more quickly donned and doffed than traditional lace up boots or shoes and you can do some walking in them without discomfort should you need to.
Overall, a good product with which I am satisfied.
