Sidi Vertigo Air Boots

Average Customer Rating:   4.5 out of 5 (based on 22 ratings)

The Vertigo Air has all the same quality features of its cousin the Vertigo. Building on that base, this vented version, which carries the moniker "Air", utilizes a fully perforated Lorica outer shell, which allows vast amounts of air to enter the boot and circulate around the rider's foot, resulting in cooler body temperatures without sacrificing comfort or safety. The Vertigo Air is what sport riders who live in warmer climates need to survive. Combine with Sidi CoolMax or Xstatic socks for best results.

 Good Boots

By Anonymous from NY on 06/13/2008

Pros: Good fit, comfortable, looks good too. Really good value for the money I think

Cons: None really except...I have a 07 GSX 750 and when i first put em on and rode with them I tended to miss shifts. This has gone away pretty quickly and is not really a prob now. Only reason I mention it is to not go out and race the first time u put em on :)

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: Will all previous reviews wasn't sure whether these fit big small or what. I wear a size 9 shoe and got the size 9.5 (43 euro) and it was pretty much perfect fit.

Comments: Overall good boot, well build and good value. Kneedraggers handled the order pretty well (about 5 day delay from warehouse as they had said)

Nice boots once I got the right size.

By Rich from Carrizozo, NM on 05/28/2008

Pros: A nice design with replaceable parts. Good soles that let you feel the bike and the rear calf adjustment is a nice feature. If you live and ride where it's hot these boots do a great job of keeping your feet cool.

Cons: I wonder what a size 10 foot looks like in Italy, because the sizing seems wacky. The overall fit inside the boot is honestly not what I expected from a Sidi boot. Maybe I should have bought the Vertigo Corsa instead. But these are race boots and will do the job for track days and club racing.

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller

Additional Sizing Notes: The fit "at least for me" was not true to size. I wear a 44 euro in all my other boots and shoes, including my SIdi cycling shoes. I ordered a 44 in these boots and I was swimming in them. Kneedraggers was great with issuing and RMA and getting me a pair of size 43 sent out as an exchange. I'm still not 100 percent pleased with the fit, but that may just be the way they are designed as there are no half sizes.

Comments: The price was good and kneedraggers exchanged the boots for the proper size without any hassle or fuss. Overall iI'm satisfied with them, I'm just not as impressed with the fit as I thought I'd be... (Read the rest of this review)

 Great Protection

By Anonymous from Kailua, Hawaii on 04/08/2008

Pros: My friend was recently in a wreck and its a good thing he had these boots on. He Still managed to break a few bones in his foot, but his ankle hit a metal pole at 80+ mph. The doctor told him if he had on regular shoes, or even regular boots he may have lost his foot.
