All new for 2006 the Vertigo Tepor is the water-resistant version of the Vertigo boot. The Vertigo Tepor combines all the great features of the standard Vertigo boot with the Sidi exclusive Tepor membrane to add a water resistant yet breathable barrier between the elements and the rider's feet. Featuring a subtler gray coloring (instead of red) of its accent pieces the Vertigo Tepor can be worn off the bike without attracting too many stares from the non-moto riding public. And, don't worry about the vent; it is blocked off behind the plastic cover.
Pros: As I said above, this is my second pair of Sidis. My first pair (B1s) I finally retired after 6 years of hard use. They never fell apart or anything, I just wanted a new pair and got tired of waiting for the B1s to wear out!
The Vertigo Rains appear to be built just as well (way better actually). They obviously are much more advanced than my six year-old B1s and are waaaay more comfortable. The vertebrae system and the calf adjustment system work very well. I haven't had them in the rain yet so can't comment on the waterproofing.
Cons: None so far.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: This is my second pair of Sidi boots and I'd say they actually fit about a half a size larger than my previous pair.
I'm very happy I went ahead and upgraded to these boots. If they last just half as long as my previous Sidis then it will be money well spent.

Pros: Really, really, nice leather. Everything looks and feels sturdy, all the stitching and all. Good feel and fit, snug in all the right places. Have that leathery smell too.
Cons: The TePOR does NOT have the vent on the side like the other Vertigo. In the picture provided it seems to, but the ones I received did not. Not surprised, as they are trying to be water proof though. The shin plate doesn't seem to be removable either

Pros: Boots are very comfortable to walk in due to slightly lower cut to back of the boot.
Haven't had chance to use on bike yet(weather).
Build quality exceeds price.
Cons: None.
