    Excellent gloves! |
By Ryan from Bellingham, WA on 08/16/2008
Pros: These gloves are outstanding! I don't intend to crash test these, but I'm confident they will stand up to any crash that may happen. They are very comfortable, I had a problem with the SP-2s feeling too tight. I tried the GP-Plus gloves, but the finger armor was uncomfortable. These are perfect! Pricy, but worth the money if you want top notch gloves.
Cons: Expensive. Not the easiest gloves to get in and out of. Not the gloves I'd pick for running around town.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I have had a pair of Alpinestars SP-2s in an XL and a pair of Held Thrux in size 10 and I got a pair of these in XL (Euro 9.5) and they fit great. Its a tight fit, but a race glove should be. Just a bit of extra glove on the thumb, but its not noticeable.
These gloves are great on the track and on spirited rides, but I'd use something a little less aggressive for jaunts around town. Hands are delicate, and these will do everything to protect them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

By Mike from Los Angeles, USA on 04/11/2008
Pros: The great thing about these gloves is that it offers an huge amount of protection. The vents also work well.
Cons: For some odd reason, the pinky attachment for the right gloves jams into my knuckle when made into a fist which can be quite uncomfortable. The leather on the fingers is also pretty thin as well compared to other gloves such as A*.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: Fit's a little snug when made into a fist, but they should break in nicely.
Comments: I also ordered the red/black, but was sent one that was red/white/black. Nonetheless, these gloves have so many features compared to other high-end gloves that it actually justifies the ludicrous... (Read the rest of this review)

High priced for a reason |
By Anonymous from San Diego, CA on 11/01/2007
Pros: Extremely comfortable. You hardly notice they are there. The guantlets and the wrist fasteners provide a nice snug fit and while I haven't crash tested them, I doubt they would come off in that event.
Cons: Price. Let's face it, $250.00 for a pair of gloves is a lot of money.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: The locking mechanism between the ring finger and the pinky takes a little getting used to. You can really feel it through the glove and makes it a little uncomfortable until you break them in. I previously owned a pair of Joe Rockets and after breaking them in, it seemed the fingers shrunk a bit and I had to stretch them out for every ride. The Spidi's fit true each and every time.
Comments: I wear the Berik 4926 Kangaroo carbon fiber gloves, but since they are near impossible to find, I went with Spidi as a pair of back-up gloves. The air flow through them is quite surprising... (Read the rest of this review)
