These are nice. They have a synthetic upper (non-leather). I wear a 10.5 in men's New Balance and the 44 seems to fit fine. They are ninja-light, toe box tight and have reflective piping (for visibility) on the posterior and medial sides.
The laces are a bit slippery so I stash them down the front of the tongue. A velcro flap would be nice to secure them. The ankle guards are soft rubber so I don't know if the impact protection would be as good as the abrasion protection.
I'm used to wearing running shoes so my feet stay a litter warmer in these.

Pros: good fit, good look and its pretty cheap compared to other street riding shoes. also very light and well ventilated. traditional shoe lace is the way to go. easy to adjust and when lace gets worn just buy a new one.
Cons: took a little while to recieve. (2 weeks) it was worth it tho i'm really happy with these.
