Spiegler Front Brake Line Kit - 2 Line Routing - Suzuki SV650
Average Customer Rating:4.0 out of 5 (based on 2 ratings)
Spiegler patented stainless steel braided brake lines eliminate expansion under the most severe applications. Even under extreme pressure the lever feel remains consistent.
Features
Patented torsion system eliminates line twist.
Kits are available ready to install, or as individual lines for custom applications.
A generally unrecognized manufacturer's recommendation is that all original rubber hydraulic hoses should be changed every four years to avoid failure. Spiegler brake lines are maintenance free and will provide reliable service for the life of your motorcycle.
Stainless steel braided brake lines are available with or without transparent, black, red or blue vinyl covering.
Colored fittings, banjo bolts and numerous accessories turn every kit into a tailor-made purchase. To special order colored fittings please call us.
Pros: Ability to fit twist the ends for a cleaner install
Cons: Clamp to hold lines while twisting ends is worthless, had to fab my own which worked like a charm.
Blems in covering
All in all fit was good and the blems are basically hidden up behind the headlight.
The small plastic clamp they give you to twist the ends is worthless, directions say to tighten down on until it starts to change color, well it just started to crush and it would seem the hole in is slightly to large as the line just spun. Had to fab my own out of a chunk of aluminum with a plastic liner to protect the fitting on the line and all was good.
Due to the cheap clamp and blems is the only reason it got a 4, I feel eveything should work out of the package and per the directions. All other aspects are a 5
Huge difference in brake feel, but that should be unique to the lines over other steel braids.
As a side note, these lines are on a 06 SV650N with a 05 GSXR600/750 radial front end using the stock SV master cylinder. Has plenty of stopping power and good feel/feedback through the lever.
Cheers - Rick
