Starlane Engear Digital Gear Indicator with Shift Light
Average Customer Rating:5.0 out of 5 (based on 2 ratings)
Engear is an universal indicator to display the engaged gear and also contains and integrated Shift Light
What makes it unique is the gear update speed. The gear update speed is significantly faster than common devices that have a delay of higher than a second.
Despite its compact proportions, it is fitted with a large display (22mm. height) allowing inmediate visibility. Day or night visablity is fine due to the automatic brightness regulation sensor.
FEATURES:
BIG DISPLAY WITH AUTOMATIC DIMMER.
ULTRABRIGHT BLUE ADJUSTABLE SHIFT LIGHT.
UNIVERSAL INSTALLATION ON VEHICLES WITH ELECTRONIC TACHO AND SPEED SIGNALS.
UP TO 9 GEARS SUPPORTED.
WATER VRESISTANT.
USES: CARS - MOTORBIKES.
DIMENSIONS: width 29 mm. - height 41 mm. - dept 20 mm.
Pros: great little device, quality is top notch! Instructions included were easy to follow for my 600rr 08'. what can I say, it works just as advertised! I added a small little push button switch from radio shack (ground wire to setup wire) and tucked it under dash in case I need to recalibrate it again without removing the front fairings. This really helped in getting a good "on road" calibration.
Cons: Instructions state calibration can be done on a bike stand, however I found inaccurate gear info while riding. I just ended up setting it to calibration mode and did an on road calibration and all has been fine :).
