Traction Pads are made specifically to provide aggressive traction for the ultimate in bike control.
They also reduce fatigue and arm pump.
The pads are made from a pliable, clear, elastomer material that has raised volcano-shaped traction bumps.
This material allows paint and graphics to remain visible through the traction pads and have rounded edges that resist peeling.
They're not abrasive and will not rip riding gear like grip tape will. Stomp traction pads are pre-molded to make bike-specific kits.
They're available in form-fit applications for most new and late-model sportbikes, as well as universal kits for custom projects and are applied with a super-strong 3M peel-and-stick adhesive.
Pros: Really helps when leaning the bike over at the track, especially on bumpy surfaces
Cons: No rear pad, but it wouldn't do much on an F4i anyway and only 01-03 has a split seat with anywhere to put it.
To help make the adhesive stick, I ran the bike until I hit reserve, parked it and let it idle while I was applying the pads. This made the entire tank warm up uniformly and hopefully helped the adhesive stick better.

Pros: Grabs really well. Good for not sliding forward under braking.
Comments: I missed the "I'm not a sticker" directions, and just cleaned the area and smashed it on.

Good stuff

Pros: The pads are great for tank grip. Made with strong 3M adhesive, these things don't move. Countor the bike very well since they are precut. Although they haven't been on long, you can tell they are stuck and weather proof. Gives the bike an aggressive look too.
Cons: Wouldn't use them if planning to ride in shorts. the small knobs will be uncomfortable.
