Traction Pads are made specifically to provide aggressive traction for the ultimate in bike control.
They also reduce fatigue and arm pump.
The pads are made from a pliable, clear, elastomer material that has raised volcano-shaped traction bumps.
This material allows paint and graphics to remain visible through the traction pads and have rounded edges that resist peeling.
They're not abrasive and will not rip riding gear like grip tape will. Stomp traction pads are pre-molded to make bike-specific kits.
They're available in form-fit applications for most new and late-model sportbikes, as well as universal kits for custom projects and are applied with a super-strong 3M peel-and-stick adhesive.
Pros: Helps keep you in place. Even with pants that are slick. Also discourages you from wearing shorts. The black looks really good on a black tank, and doesn't show the air bubbles as badly. Also makes it easy to stay in place while riding 2 up.
Cons: Installation isn't the easiest, but if you take your time it will come out fine. Too soon to tell how well it will stay in place.

Pros: Top 2 pros would be lessening rider fatigue and your knees STICK to the tank so well. Perfect for twisties as pants always slip around the gas tank area.
Cons: None, but take your time putting it on because i rushed it and ended up leaving some air bubbles in it. Doesnt look too bad, but regret not taking my time.

R6 Stompgrips

Pros: Excellent improvement in tank grip. Eliminates slip when just wearing jeans on street.
Cons: Difficult to remove all bubbles/apply. Cannot recommend for those who wear shorts at any time while riding.
Comments: Would purchase again, have been using them for 2 seasons now.

Pros: These pads work really well! Their isn't a whole lot to be said other than the Stomp Grips really help! Plus, the black pads look pretty sweet.
Cons: None. They work just like it is advertised!

Pros: stops you from sliding around under hard breaking and such
