The Vandal offers the sport rider, sport tourer and urban rider an aggressive look combined with features found in Suomy's top of the line premium helmets. Designed as Suomy's new entry-level helmet, The Vandal is rich in quality and performance.

Pros: A light, well ventilated, stylish and modern helmet.
Cons: I used to wear a Suomy Ventura. It was a great helmet but started showing its age. One thing I noticed almost immediately after switching to the Vandal was a reduction in peripheral vision. The mirrors on my ZX6-R are adequate, but out of habit I make frequent head checks in traffic before lane changes. It takes more rotation to get the same field of view with the Vandal. Just food for for thought. Also the vandal has only three visor detents. The middle position is great because it is open but does not create an unpleasant vortex. However a lower position might be preferred in a rain storm and is not possible. Is it loud? It is probably louder than my bosses $700 Schuberth. But it does not bother me; I wear ear buds most of the time.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: Firstly, my head is definitely oval shaped, 22.5 inches around just above my eye brows. This puts me, size chart wise, in the large category, although just barely. For this reason I might have gone with a medium to get a tighter fit, except I ride year round and have taken to wearing a balaclava to protect my neck from the cold and road debris. I keep my hair short (crew cut) and if i wear the helmet alone it is a decent fit, though a little loose for my taste. With the balaclava at first the large felt a little tight, but after a week feels like my perfect fit. So i would say it fits Spot on.
