Snake Skin - A standard rubber product that is .125" thick, but is molded with a low profile diamond grip pattern to help increase the coefficient of friction. Snake Skin is an excellent product for riders of all skill levels and all conditions. Snake Skin is the preferred choice of most aggressive, higher skilled, track day riders. Snake Skin also uses TechSpec's "Releasable/Reusable adhesive" - take 'em off, move them around and use them over and over again.
Pros: Once you ride with these, you can't go back. They really help anchor you to the bike and in the corners, if you are riding aggressively, they rock. Downhill on a bumpy twisty road, you can clamp on and keep your weight off your wrists. Improves control and look sharp too. The patterns and fit on the R6 are great.
Cons: Application has to be very careful or they may not stick on some edges. Just make sure you clean the surface very well with carb cleaner or other suggested solvent in the instructions. I missed an area when cleaning and they wouldn't stick there. I removed, cleaned again, heated the surface with a hair dryer and reapplied and it is perfect now.
