    Good entry-level suit |
By Anonymous from Pensacola, FL
Pros: Great ventilation. The breathable panels let in a lot of air. Be mindful of this when its colder.
Cons: Sizing seems to be a compromise. Keep in mind it is an entry-level suit, it's not going to fit perfect but it will do its job. See below.
Sizing Info: Other
Additional Sizing Notes: I'm 6', 220 lbs, 36" waist, 46" chest. I first ordered a size 46 suit, and while the jacket fit me perfect, I needed to be about 3" shorter to be able to zip the jacket to the pants. Sent back, ordered a size 48, still tight in the crotch but manageable, however the jacket and pants are little oversized now. An additional back protector would probably help fill out the jacket.
Crash tested! Attended a trackday at Jennings GP. Was involved in a high-speed low-side between turns 1 and 2, approx. 90 mph. Despite blowing out the seam in the left arm from the shoulder to the forearm where the leather meets the breathable panels, the suit held up remarkably well. No burn through in any areas, just busted seams all over the place. My only injuries were a broken thumb and sprained wrist. My knees are a little rashed due to the fit of the suit, the armor did not remain in place while I was sliding/tumbling. However I had no impact injuries except for the hands. Overall the suit held up very well, though I would prefer to see perforated leather instead of the fabric material in the breathable areas.
