 Comfortably Stiff...

By Jason from SoCal to East NM

Pros: Like I said, they're comfortably stiff. It's like a stiff shoe that needs to get broke in, but they will not break in like you might imagine. I believe they will remain stiff (they're new... I just got them) due to the material that they are made out of. It's hard to explain in words, but I look at them like a softer old school red "Scott Boots." They're made entirely different, but they have that hard plastic feel (stiff), but a lot more comfortable than those red Scott Boots. I like the support that it provides and the waterproofing. The sole looks really good for wet, muddy, or slushy surfaces. I did not want a full boot. It appears that this will work out for me. I got them for $89.99. Most of you don't even know what those old Scott Boots look like! lol

Cons: I wish that they had some more flexibility in the foot, as when you hyperflex your foot and toes upward (like when you shift).

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: I purchased a 10.5 even though there was a Euro sizing chart when I ordered them. I selected size "45." They state that they are a "11" in the US on the tag, but the box says a 45 or 10.5. They're comfortably stiff if this makes any sense, so 1/2 a size larger is better. I was planning on wearing extra thick socks with them. They're wider than they look. I have a extra-wide foot, and they fit good in the width.

I gave them a 4 out of 5. They may deserve a 5 star rating out of 5, but I haven't ridden one mile yet.
