MDS1 Features & Specifications:
This system offers LCD technology for exceptional daytime clarity and cool backlighting at night, choose between blue, red or green. The system offers gear position indication by the way of a large single digit for greater visibility. Also the system comprises of twin mega-bright shiftlights for optimum rpm gear shifts. There is a bar graph type rpm indicator showing lower and upper rev ranges for pre-race warm-ups and general rpm indication.
MDS2 Features & Specifications:
This system offers LCD technology for exceptional daytime clarity and cool backlighting at night, choose between blue, red or green. The system offers gear position indication by the way of a large single digit for greater visibility. Also the system comprises of twin mega-bright shiftlights for optimum rpm gear shifts, a manual lap timer which is operated by a sealed tactile waterproof button each time you cross the line. (This button is a mounted in a CNC machined handle bar bracket on the MDS2 allowing you to position the button in any desired position on the left handle bar/clip-on). Lap times can be viewed for a 5 second period each time the button is pressed for on bike viewing while still riding and then back at the pits by cycling through each lap with consecutive button presses. The system comes with a button operated quickshifter with IntellishiftTM, the world's first adaptive quickshifter!, which allows you to shift up gears at constant or full throttle without the use of the clutch for lightening smooth up-shifts at any rpm. This unique quickshifter design only operates after the first 20% of the rev range which results in no stalling when selecting neutral. This design also adapts itself to the rpm of the engine bringing the engine back on line progressively at lower rpms and then speeding up as the revs rise! The quickshifter button is also mounted into the CNC machined handle bar bracket.
