 Best bang for your buck

Pros: I looked around a lot and the vortex was the lowest price that seemed to have good quality. I use there rear sets so i expected a high quality part, and i did get one. for the price you cant go wrong.

Cons: None

 Pain the the A$$

By Stephen from Anytown, USA on 01/22/2008

Pros: It looks OK when you finish. It's lite.

Cons: This is not a bolt on upgrade out of the box. The bracket is not threaded, so you have to make a trip to home depot to grab two 2.5" hex bolts (stock bolts won't work). Then you'll have to decide on a couple of nuts that you want people seeing when they look at your bike. Also don't forget the washers. Then you'll have to break out the flat black spray paint to fix the dings on the bracket and to make the nuts match. When you're finally ready to attach this thing to your muffler, you'll notice that it doesn't fit the same as the stock mount. So you'll have to reposition your exhaust and make new gaskets. All in all it took about ten times longer than it should to change a freakin muffler bracket.
