New, revolutionary two piece design. The aluminum slider bases accept slider pucks. Now there's no need to replace the entire set in the event of a fall. Simply replace the vortex slider puck, sold individually.
KneeDraggers' Frame Slider Kits include mounting hardware and puck!
Aluminum frame slider bases include left and right slider bases.
2-piece design.
Accepts slider pucks, so in the event of a fall, simply replace the Vortex slider puck, sold separately.
Type 1: No Fairing Modification.
Type 2: Fairing Modification Needed.
Note * No frame modifications required on 03-04. Frame modification required on 05-06.
Pros: This looks great when I first got it. It took me about two hours to install the sliders because I had to cut the fairing. It is a perfect fit for my bike.
Cons: Very time consuming to cut the fairings.

The CBR "Vortex"(Frame Sliders)

Pros: Great product with a simple concept. The wider base makes it less likely to bend in a get off. The 2 piece design means that you only need to purchase the plastic piece and save some money in the event of a crash(like your not going to spend enough as it is) This was a major factor in my purchase.
Cons: I know that to be strong you can't compromise positon, but I hate cutting panels.
Comments: Great product, great site, found several things I can't find anywhere else. Shipping could be slightly faster, but the piece arrived in good condition. Thanks for the great shopping experience.
