Aluminum frame slider bases include left and right slider bases.
2-piece design.
Accepts slider pucks, so in the event of a fall, simply replace the Vortex slider puck, sold separately.
Type 1: No Fairing Modification.
Type 2: Fairing Modification Needed.
Note No frame modifications required on 03-04. Frame modification required on 05-06.
Pros: They look great! (better than my old six shooters) and they seem to be a lot tougher. They wont bend as easily. Also installation was very easy and they mount up much nicer than any other frame slider I have come across.
Cons: They dont add any Horse Power? lol

Pros: They did their job! These did exactly what they were supposed to do and saved a lot of damage from my bike. Just ordered a new puck and ready to ride again.

Pros: I have heard many goof things about Vortex Frame Sliders, thankfully i havn't had to use them yet....so i dont have any input on how they perform.

Pros: Frame sliders were easy to install. I like the fact that you can change the puck separate from the base if you ever Use them.
