Cons: one of the slider pucks had an inside diameter that was slightly smaller than the other. it took a good deal of "persuasion" to get the nut that anchors the slider to it's base to slide through the puck.
i did a good deal of research in order to find the best possible frame slider for my 929. unfortuanatly i got no definative answers. this product appears to be well constructed, but i have no idea how they would hold up since i haven't had the displeasure of usinging them. i was however dissapointed that one of my pucks was slightly out of spec.

vortex frame slider for 2001 CBR 929RR

Pros: Well I did quite a bit of internet research looking for a good slider. Most track guys said they use vortex sliders so I thought I'd pick up a pair. Apparently some of the lessor ones would not really slide but actually break off and still damage your bike. I got to test them the day after I put them on. I didn't put up my kickstand and backed out of my garage. It has a 1 -2 inch step down and the kickstand hit the ground and rebounded my bike to the other side. I couldn't hold it up so it fell right on the ground. I picked the bike back up and what do ya know they worked. You would be hard pressed to see that anything had even happened. I just wiped off the slider puck and the bike is unscathed. I have been backing out bikes from this garage for 2 years now with no problem. I'm so happy that I had the frame sliders on when this happened. I think they probably just paid for themselves. On these street bikes it doesn't take much to damage them. Not like a motocross bike.
Cons: none. I even got a chrome puck to match my chrome CBR 929.
