New, revolutionary two piece design. The aluminum slider bases accept slider pucks. Now there's no need to replace the entire set in the event of a fall. Simply replace the vortex slider puck, sold individually.

Aluminum frame slider bases include left and right slider bases.

Pros: Aesthetics very high - these sliders look sweet!
Cons: I tested the left slider in June and broke my collarbone but the sliders (& spools) protected my fairings very well. Of course, the mounting base bent and stripped some threads in my engine block.
Next >> In September, my brother tested the right slider and the whole puck popped off the aluminum mount. Plastics = toast.
I've gone with these before and when the bike is out of the shop, I'm putting on a different brand.

Pros: The Vortex Frame Sliders are a great quality item. The materials, fit, and finish are top notch. These sliders seem much stronger and more reliable then the no-cut fairing sliders I had on my bike before. I know the no-cuts are junk from a mishap I had recently.
Cons: You have to cut the fairing, but if a person bought these not expecting to do that, shame on them.
Comments: The K6/K7 Gixxer fairings do not give a person much room for error when installing a frame slider such as these. If a person buys these sliders, be carefull and take your time installing them.
