Pros: I have the Vortex Frame Sliders on my '03 R6 and I can tell you from experience that these sliders really protect your bike. In the past few years I�ve been racing with the same bike and have been down many times (high sides/low sides, you name it) and these sliders have protected my bike every time. Now, that is not to say that there is no damage to the bodywork or exhaust; but the damage that my bike has sustained in the many times that it�s been down has been very minimal, every time.
Cons: The pucks could be a little more beefy. I agree with the last review in the fact that on the low side crashes the pucks wear away a little too quickly.

Vortex Frame Slider Kit

Pros: These are really good sliders, installed these on a 04 R6, but also had them on a 03 600RR and a 06 R1. I give them a 4 because they are very good crash protection and great for a two piece slider.
Cons: I have crashed with these on a 600rr and although they did come out fairly well, and protected the bike really well, it was a straight slide at 60 MPH. The puck ground down to the bolt and it was hard to get it out from the base. The base didn't bend at all, which surprised me. I would like to see these a little beefier and longer, I think it would be a killer protection set of sliders then.
