    41mm on 2008 GSX650F |
By JR from Gainesville, FL
Pros: Easy installation, more aggressive riding position, quicker/sharper turning ability, removable and adjustable bars, high-quality hardware (stripped my allen key and NOT the included bolts), nice aluminum finish.
Cons: No bar ends to reduce vibration, which is a must if you're moving from commuter bars with dampers to clip-ons. Bar-ends can be purchased separately from Vortex, but they'll run between $28-32 without shipping. The aluminum surface (only on the bars, not the clips) scratches/marks easily, but can be polished out with Mother's Aluminum polish.
Slow ship time, but otherwise satisfied. These were installed on a 2008 GSX650F to replace the commuter bars. Front-end was lowered about 3/4" to install, but otherwise installation was hassle-free.
