 41mm on 2008 GSX650F

By JR from Gainesville, FL

Pros: Easy installation, more aggressive riding position, quicker/sharper turning ability, removable and adjustable bars, high-quality hardware (stripped my allen key and NOT the included bolts), nice aluminum finish.

Cons: No bar ends to reduce vibration, which is a must if you're moving from commuter bars with dampers to clip-ons. Bar-ends can be purchased separately from Vortex, but they'll run between $28-32 without shipping. The aluminum surface (only on the bars, not the clips) scratches/marks easily, but can be polished out with Mother's Aluminum polish.

Slow ship time, but otherwise satisfied. These were installed on a 2008 GSX650F to replace the commuter bars. Front-end was lowered about 3/4" to install, but otherwise installation was hassle-free.

 Vortex Clipons - 06CBR1000RR

By Anonymous from Anytown, USA

Pros: The clipons look great. The angle that vortex makes their clipons is great for aggressive riding.

Cons: Much more vibration transfer through the handlebars over stock. As most aftermarket clipons, holes have to be drilled to mount stock controls.

 ATTENTION GS500 owners!!

By Matt from Standridge

Pros: Very light weight, high quality aluminum. The 37mm fit my little gs500 perfectly.

Cons: Just a tad pricey, but anyone with a GS will agree its worth it to get rid of that awful commuter/bmx bars.

By nathan from Dunn loring, VA

Pros: They are inexpensive but good quality

Cons: Brake Reservoir mounting is not straightforward. Many places sell a bracket, but I think it should come with the clip-ons.
