Pros: Great product. My wife and I each have one, and we have given one as a gift. Wholeheartedly recommend the XN 14. I would never carry a chain, but this fits in its own carry case on the frame of my bike. I never get off the bike without applying the lock.
Cons: The 7mm model is more convenient, as it doesn't require the key in the hole to engage the lock. The 14mm model (XN14) is twice as much bar to hacksaw through, but slightly less convenient. Be careful where on your bike you hang the carry case. Certain locations will get hot, and this is a pound of hot steel you'll be handling. The alarm can sound on you while you are unlocking it. It takes a steady hand to get it off without at least one warning beep, but I get it off silently 4 out of 5 times now.
Comments: I would advise a visible color. The silver case looks good on silver brake discs, but the yellow case is a visible "don't screw with me" deterrent.
