This is one of the most versatile helmets in our line. Enjoy the look of a full-face and the functionality of an open-face helmet. The Eclipse Shadow helmet has a chinbar and shield that rotate up to allow the full-face helmet to take on the characteristics of an open-face design. The advanced ventilation system allow air to enter through chin and forehead vents while exiting the rear exhaust ports.

Pros: Well ventilated, firm structure, soft but fitted padding. The flip-up mask is a plus if you want a quick snack/drink but don't want to take your helmet off. The girlfriend sure loves the flip-up!

Cons: The visor seems a little too notchy - the first few clicks are easy with one hand, but the remaining 3-4 clicks usually requre two hands. Sometimes you have to reopen the visor, and quickly shut it to get it to seal off any wind.

Overall it's a great helmet, especially for the price. I like the flip-up mask and ventilization, but the visor needs to be a more fluid motion. The matte color matches perfectly with my leather jacket.
