    Crash Tested
Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By Andy from Oahu, HI
Pros: Fits perfect under a pair of jeans, does not get in the way. I wear Alpinestars SMX-5 Boots to go with them and they don't move and fit perfect. They are crash tested after low siding at about 50mph and it saved me a HUGE amount of road rash. See for yourself, my pictures are available here:

Comments: Great product, works well, does the job and crash tested. I wear these every day I do street riding when I am not wearing leathers.

    Good leg guard
Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By Chris from KY
Pros: This is a affordable knee guard. There is a good amount of leg protection, the knee guard covers the knee all the way down the shin.
Cons: There should be a strap to attach the knee guard at the knee.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: This knee guard will fit all sizes. I think that it is good that the strap will attach to itself if a person has small legs (ie wrap around the knee guard and attach to the strap for a snug fit).
Comments: This knee guard is very affordable. I don't want to test the knee guards but I do trust them!, they seem like they will last for years. too I like A* products and this product didn't let me down, especially for the price! Great affordable protection for all types of riders.

Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By Tim from Reston, VA
Pros: This is an inexpensive set of knee protectors. They are almost unnoticeable under jeans. They are rather comfortable. When you want safety these are good. I hope to never need them but I wear them in case of the unthinkable.
Cons: They have 2 straps under the knee which allow the pad to slide down. There should have an upper strap on the top to hold the pad in place.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size

    Crash Tested
Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By Melissa from CT, USA
Pros: fits well under jeans, comfortable. Saved my knee-cap from getting ripped off in a low-side, and 50 ft drag. I don't have a scratch on me, just bruising from mid thigh to mid shin. :(
Cons: If these had the upper knee strap, I would have been better off. The padding in the knee are a shifted, and my knee got a direct impact from the tank. I have an ortho surgeon appt tomorrow to see if i need surgery. There really should be a knee strap around the knee area to prevent this slipping.

Pros: Good protection option if you have to wear jeans.
Cons: Doesn't stack up to wearing leathers for protection.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger
Additional Sizing Notes: A little on the loose side, I don't have skinny legs either.
Comments: For 25 bux they are nice to have around.

    Good kneeguards...
Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By Anonymous from Houston, Texas
Pros: good protection for them Sunday Morning Rides!
Cons: no cons, but it would help if it had an extra strap for at the top of the kneeguard.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: they fit good...
Comments: Haven't really wiped out with them, so i can't really say how good they are, but they can defenatly use another strap so they can stay in place....

Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By Todd from Montana
Pros: These are pretty inexpensive and look and feel really solid. They tuck into my riding boots just fine. They fit under jeans quite easily. Walking in these pads is easy; they did not have the "stormtrooper" feel I was expecting.
Cons: The only con is I wish for a strap around the knee pad itself. This is probably a moot point when wearing boots and pants over the top of the pads, as I think that they will stay in place quite well then.

    Decent protection for the price
Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By RJ from Oahu, HI
Pros: Hard, durable plastic & padding feels like it can take a pounding. Knee is fully articulate, so movement doesn't feel restricted. Fits reasonably well under relaxed fit jeans. Once you get the positioning just right, they are pretty comfortable, and during long rides, I forget I have them on.
Cons: "One size fits all" so these are huge for those of us that are small, but you can still make them work. Also, if you're small, you have to position them JUST RIGHT, or the inner part of the knee cup will rub & chafe somewhat. The straps could use a little more engineering (see additional comments below). They also get fairly hot.
Sizing Info: Other
Additional Sizing Notes: "One size fits all" means it's gonna be BIG for short people!
Comments: Since I'm so short, the bottom half of the shin guards fit inside the top half of my riding boots, so the boot holds the shin part snug against my leg, holding it in place very well, which is good. YMMV for taller people.
The straps are thick, but feel like they could stretch out over time. Also, while putting them on or taking them off, if you inadvertently touch the hook (grabby) portion of the Velcro against the elastic portion of the strap, it will start to fray the strap.
They do get warm, and even a bit icky on hot days. But you can remedy the icky feeling with long, knee-length athletic socks.
For the PRICE, these are very decent. My complaints are only minor irritating issues, which really don't detract from the main purpose of this item, PROTECTION. They're not perfect, but for the price, I'd recommend them to a friend.

Good protection when they don't slide around...
Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By ethan from San jose, CA
Pros: Seems very sturdy if you were to have to test it. Fell much more comfortable with these on under my kevlar jeans than without them.
Cons: You have to strap them really tight and wear some long socks over the shin portion of them to hold them in place, otherwise they slip down so they are not fully covering your knees.
Comments: For the price these are fantastic! But IMO if you really want protection I would reccomend spending the 150 on a full set of leg protection like bohn armor or something along those lines, just my $.02...

Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By Anonymous from Georgia
Pros: Easily fits under jeans for added protection. Leather is best, but if you don't have leather, or just like wearing jeans, this is a must have. It's all about minimizing the skin graphing. Can't beat it for the price.
Cons: None really, they could be a little tighter, but then again, the tighter they are, the less comfortable they will be. Good product for the money.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger
Additional Sizing Notes: Comes in one size, adult. Fits me fine but if you have a really big leg or a really small one you might have some issues.

Alpinestars Reflex Knee Guard Reviewed By Railers Inc. from NOR*CAL
Pros: Its cheap & will add much needed protection under your jeans etc...
Cons: TO BIG! A* needs to design these with more velcro adjustments.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger
Additional Sizing Notes: These knee guards are a bit big. I have big calves and they dont fit as tight as I would like them to. Although they do have 2 velcro straps to adjust they wont fit very well with someone with smaller calves.
